Maidenhead, England– Rockmywall.co.uk has taken the affordable wall art world by storm since its formation last year. The company is quickly growing, and they're now proud to welcome a new artist to their team – the renowned Melissa Mailer Yates.
Melissa has actually been with the Rockmywall team for some time, but is now being officially promoted as a member of their artist team.

Her expertise has won many world-class commissions in the past, including commissions from HM the Queen, the Saudi Royal Family and one of her latest pieces – a portrait of the Right Honourable Michael Portillo.
Christelle Macri , Rockmywall.co.uk's Director, explains a bit more about Melissa's style:
“Melissa is a true genius. Her style is very much her own, mostly combining abstract with representational. She has a reputation for truly exploring the emotions of her subjects – and is highly motivated by the female form” she says. Continuing “Melissa has also struck a real interest with her floral work collection, including her popular Madame and Bird of Paradise pieces. In large mural format, they really bring across the beautiful texture of the flower, almost like a macro photograph but with gorgeous added brush strokes. They’re sure to add depth and beauty to any wall”.
In fact, Melissa's unique approach to art has won her an exhibition across the pond – due to open in Las Vegas next year. 'Creative Face' explores the face of 1980's rock stars, at a time they were at their most creative. Nothing is yet confirmed, but there are rumours of one of the featured stars attending the opening ceremony – keep an eye on Melissa's website for more details.
